Granary Café
| The Granary |
coffee. This café is dog friendly and when we visited they even gave me a bowl of water for my dog- this was nice as it was very hot on that particular day.
It is Open 8-4 Monday to Friday and 9-4 on Saturday and Sunday. Brunch is served from 8-2 and lunch is served 12-3. There are plenty of vegan options available.
They had a wonderful cake selection on show such as their empire biscuits, caramel shortcake, bakewell slices and various different cakes on display. I bought an empire biscuit to takeaway and found out it was vegan and dairy-free - it was 10/10!
The Granary provides locally produced food and is freshly made. They have a great menu with lots of variety such as pancakes, eggs, porridge and lots more. The baked eggs were absolutely delightful, and I highly recommend them.

However, the granary is a very small café and it can be extremely difficult to get a seat inside (especially on the weekend). There is limited seating outside- but can be nice on a sunny day!
This café is small however if you’re lucky enough to get in, the food is worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and is a very relaxed atmosphere. The women at the front described which cakes were dairy-free and vegan which was very helpful. Although, it can be expensive due to the location it is well worth the money if you’re able to afford it.
